We spent yesterday, National Guacamole Day, crafting the perfect guac recipe for y'all:
3 avocados - Pick 'em ripe (but not mushy 😝)
1/2 small onion, finely diced
2 Roma tomatoes, diced
3 tbsp, fresh cilantro, chopped
1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed and finely diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 lime, juiced - Use fresh limes!
1/2 tsp sea salt
Step 1: Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit and skin and place in a mixing bowl.
Step 2: Mash the avocado with a fork and make it as chunky or smooth as you'd like.
Step 3: Add the remaining ingredients and stir together.
Step 4: Dive in!

She loves spending time with family and friends as well as sunflowers, cowboy boots, country music, and soaking up the sunshine by the lake. During these trying times. we are donating all our commercial spots on KZZU (92.9), Coyote Country, & HOT to local businesses for the foreseeable future. Our goal is simple, we want to help other businesses keep their doors open. Most small business are started by people who have risked their life savings, homes, and security to fulfill their dream.
Each week, a different business will be selected for a commercial advertising their business. Their commercial will air for the entire week on all three stations.
The businesses with the most likes will move to the next round where a small group of individuals will select which businesses receive the donated weekly air time. Please share this post to help spread word.
This challenge will surely pass as all challenges do, but in the meantime, let’s rise higher than we ever have as a city, as a people, and as a region. (KXLY Radio Group will provide final approval on selected business for air time).
