Over the past weeks many small businesses have been forced out of their comfort zone. Be it a retail, real estate, food service related, or any other facet of business we have all been forced to adjust to how we do things. The normal day to day has changed. For those who have been able to adapt and still pay the bills we are cheering you on. For those who haven’t been able to do anything but pray they can afford to ride this out we are here believing with you. We believe each of us will come out of this stronger and with better visions for our companies. Think outside of the box and let your creative juices flow! See how you can grow outside of your comfort zone.
What is keeping you from stepping out into your dreams? Don’t let the fear of what could go wrong stop you. Focus on all that could go right. There are always hiccups in any journey. Surround yourself with those who can help you weather those hiccups.

As we were meeting with Landyn Medina and Tom Oury with Connections Cheyenne, it made me reflect on the year end preparations that I have personally (like so many other bookkeepers and accountants) have started drowning in. It has taken my eye off the prize, however, after speaking with Connections Cheyenne, I am back on track.
My goal as a bookkeeper/ accountant is to make my clients life easier and keep other small businesses informed on what they can do to protect their bottom line.
So in looking into next year, I am adjusting my goals to be more apparent and more post more information.

Payroll Forms (941's, 944's, 940's, and state forms) - for those with employees -- DUE FEB 1, 2021
W2's for employees as well as 1099's for those with contractors and vendors paid over $600 -- DUE FEB 1, 2021

So many times we forget that each morning is a new day and a new opportunity to reach for the dreams and goals we have. Things have changed in our lives over the last few months. My business partner moved (this is Mary Ann speaking) and as a business we have been given some huge opportunities at growth. These things all bring new experiences, uncertainty and often hardships. However, with each new opportunity comes the chance to learn and grow. It helps us to become better people and better equipped to help those placed in our paths. What hard roads are you facing? Remember each new day is a new opportunity!
