Sofia & Sugar want to wish everyone a safe quarantine! These two aren’t very good at social distancing but want all of their human friends to be safe - so they want to remind all clients to call ahead as the doors will be locked to minimize human to human contact. Stay safe everyone
In doing our part to protecting the health of our team and our clients we have made some changes in how we are seeing our patients.
During normal business hours our doors will remain locked.
Upon arrival for an appointment, or picking up medication/food please call 203-366-6733.
For Appointments:
Please call the hospital when you arrive to have your pet checked-in and to give a history over the phone. After that a nurse will meet you at the front door, your pet will be taken to the treatment room to be examined and all prearranged services will be provided. If this a sick visit the Veterinarian will call you to discuss a treatment plan. All payments will be taken over the phone no cash transactions will be excepted at this time. Discharge will be provided via email.
Medication/Prescription Food pickup:
If you are in need to pickup food or medication please call ahead so that we have the prescriptions ready by the time that you arrive. Payments will be taken over the phone and the items will be brought to the door to minimize contact.
You can also order your pets' food or medications through our home delivery service by going to https://highwayanimalhospital.securevetsource.com or use the shop now button on our Facebook page.
These guidelines have been put in place to ensure that we can remain open and here for you and your pet's needs. Thank you for being patient through this difficult time and please stay safe
