*URGENT OFFICE UPDATE*
We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a COVID-19 exposure to our staff, and out of an abundance of caution, we are closing the office for at least 3 days in order for our entire team to get tested. We are currently calling all clients with scheduled appointments for Mon. Oct. 5, Tues. Oct. 6, and Wed. Oct. 7 to reschedule. Access to phones will be limited, so if you'd like to reach us, please message us here on Facebook, or by email at HSAHPETS@gmail.com.
We anticipate some very busy and trying days ahead over the next few weeks. But your pets' health and well-being, as well as your safety and the safety of our staff, are all at the forefront of our focus. Your patience and understanding are sincerely appreciated.

Every pet has a naughty streak 😼😂
We want you to know that we are doing our best to navigate these tough times. Together, as a community we are facing trying times and the current pandemic is affecting all of us.
As many of you know, we recently made the decision to close our office for a few days to allow our staff to get tested for the coronavirus due to a possible exposure to our staff. During this closure, we have thoroughly sanitized our hospital and gave our staff the time to get their Covid tests and results. We can assure you that every team member is healthy and ready to serve our community.
As a result of our closure, we anticipate busier than normal days ahead as we contend with the aftermath of the abrupt closure. Please, be patient with us as we are doing our best to assist your needs with regards to your beloved pets.
Here are some ways you can help:
1) If you need to schedule your pet for a well check, give us plenty of notice as we will be scheduling these appointments 1-2 weeks (or more) out
2) If you are running low on your prescription medications, give us more than 24-48 hours to fill them for you. In lieu of calling for this request, you may email us at HSAHPets@gmail.com
3) If your pet needs to be seen right away, we will do our best to work you into our schedule. These types of appointments generally get worked into our already existing appointments and you may need to wait a little longer than usual. If we are unable to work you into our schedule, or your pet needs ugent care, you may want to consider taking him/her to either the Care Center in Blue Ash (513-530-0911) or MedVet (513-561-0069)
*CHANGES TO OUR PROTOCOL*
We have decided as a result of our recent exposure as well as the recent change in Clermont County's status (now in the "Red") to revert back to CURBSIDE APPOINTMENTS ONLY* for the time being. Please, park in one of our numbered spots and call our office when you arrive. After "checking in" with our front office, our vet assistants and technicians will come out to your vehicle to retrieve your pet for their exam. Please use face coverings for these interactions.** Our doctors will be in communication with you over the phone and/or outside your vehicle. Following your visit, our front office staff are equipped with taking payment over the phone for your convenience.
*Exceptions may made to this policy on a case by case basis
**We will coninue to enforce a mask policy for all who enter our building, including staff, as well as outdoors on our grounds, when maintaining a distance of 6 ft. is not possible
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We can only hope that times like these remind us that we are all in this together.
We hope to see your healthy, happy faces soon!

24 years ago, Dr. Fouts and his wife, Lynn, along with the help of their family, opened Hillside's doors! After 15 years at their initial location on St. Rt. 132, Dr. Fouts and Lynn designed our current building and moved in September 2011. We have grown Hillside's clientele over the years with the help of an amazing staff! We couldn't be more proud to be serving Clermont County and it's pets!!

Introducing Mia, one of the newest members of the Hillside team;
Hi my name is Mia McCammon. I’m currently enrolled at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash to get my vet tech degree. I should be graduating in the spring of 2021! Pictured with me is my little dog Molly. She has inspired me to fulfill my career by showing so much unconditional love. I never knew I could love an animal so much. She has taught me so much and if it wasn’t for her I would not be working in veterinary medicine. I enjoy working at HSAH. I am getting great experience as an assistant, everyone who works here treat me like family. I look forward to my future here at Hillside.
