We would like to thank Pope/Douglas Solid Waste Management, Alexandria Technical and Community College and Alexandria Rotary Club for organizing such a great recycling event a few weeks back. Your friends in La Crosse appreciate the hard work that went into hosting such event. A total of 115 mattresses and box springs were collected at this event and successfully diverted from local landfills. THANK YOU!!♻️
Attention all Kwik Trip coffee lovers out there. Did you know that the new coffee cups provided by KT are now being recycled by Hilltopper? When rinsed, clean and the lid is removed, it can now go into the recycling container. If not a customer/resident of Hilltopper's services, please follow up with your recycling collector to see if paper cups can be placed in your recycling stream!♻️
Here is a friendly reminder to ALL households that have curbside recycling and garbage carts. We ask that you keep AT LEAST 3 feet between your carts, cart(s) and mailbox or any other object. Three feet is important due to the fact that each container is picked up by a mechanical arm that needs room to open/close when picking up and dropping the container.
Repairing/replacing mailboxes is not our expertise, so please keep this in mind when setting out your carts😅😀
It's that time of year when Michael Myers comes out of hiding and strongly advocates for proper recycling. This is a "friendly" reminder by the Boogieman himself that just because something is made of plastic doesn't mean it goes into your recycling bin. Beware of what you place in your recycling bin on a daily basis; or please shriek for assistance from your municipality or local recycling hauler😈🎃👻♻️

Had fun yesterday. A mother called and was looking for trucks to do a drive by for her little boys 4th birthday. I’m all about making kids smile so Sheilah and I jumped in and did it. Thanks to Phil for shining the truck all up for this. 👍
