Dr. Abusamhadana earned his medical degree at Al-Tahadi University (Sirte University Faculty of Medicine) in Sirte, Libya. Dr. Abusamhadana completed his training at Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital in Sirte. He gained additional experiences during his family medicine residency at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Abusamhadana is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, American Medical Association, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, and American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
He has medical staff privileges at Saint Vincent Hospital and oversees the pediatric clinic at the Family Medicine Center. He is a Member of the Teaching Faculty at Saint Vincent Family Medicine residency program and an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Family Medicine – LECOM.
He has an interest in women’s health care, including obstetrics. He enjoys the challenge and excitement of teaching residents and Medical students. He enjoy Pharmacology and has a strong interest in primary care hospitalist medicine. He does a variety of minor gynecology procedures at the Saint Vincent Family Medicine Residency Procedure Clinic.
