Night Audit is a specialized position for a Front Desk Agent/Clerk focusing on excellent customer service and light accounting. Wage depends on experience, starting $13.25-$14.00/hour, DOE. Looking to fill a part-time position of 'graveyard shifts' with hours between 11am-7am. Must pass background check and drug test.
Night Audit/Front Desk Agent/Clerk job description: Provide outstanding guest service by assisting guests in any area necessary, answer PBX, make reservations, check in and check out guests, manage guest billing, protect guest information, and communicate with other departments.
Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image and wear the proper uniform and name tag at all times. Keep working area clean and organized.
Create a comfortable guest experience by greeting all guests with a friendly welcome and responding promptly to questions, complaints, and requests including but not limited to beverage service, baggage handling, extra amenities, rollaway beds, or cribs. Be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Supply information about the hotel's services, the community, points of interest, accurate travel directions, etc.
Communicate with other hotel departments regarding guest service requests or complaints. Communicate all guests at risk with supervisor and/or manager on duty.
Answer phone calls within 3 rings and direct calls professionally and courteously. Take accurate & complete messages and deliver them promptly.
Sell rooms and make reservations using knowledge of room rates, selling restrictions, and reservation script. Achieve 90% or higher on each test call.
Complete guest check-ins and check-outs according to service standards.
Process hotel charges, credit card transactions, and personal identifiable information according to set accounting & security procedures.
