Halloween for Harrington is on! Trick or Treat will be held on Saturday Oct 31, 2020 from 6 pm to 8 pm, for ages 12 and under. There are guidelines to follow if you plan to either participate in handing out candy or if your child will be collecting the goodies. These come from the CDC and the Governors Office.
1. Everyone must wear a mask. Halloween mask are not enough. Those handing out candy must wear a mask as well.
2. Only store bought prepackage items can be given. NO HOMEMADE ITEMS!
3. Walk only in groups from the same household. NO LARGE GROUPS TOGETHER!
4. Wait for one group to leave a house before approaching the home. Do not crowd the area.
5. Homeowners must be standing or sitting outside. NO ONE MAY COME TO YOUR DOOR OR INTO YOUR HOME!
6. If you are handing out treats you need to use hand sanitizer or food service gloves.
7. HAVE FUN!!! BUT PLEASE OBEY THE RULES! The City of Harrington first and always is concerned for your safety. If you feel sick, stay home. If you feel at risk for this activity, stay home. Wear your mask and social distance. Together we can make this a great Halloween!
