We are seeking someone with great customer service skills who enjoys interacting with people. This position is available for either part-time or full time and requires the applicant to work evening and overnight shifts. Shifts are from 3pm-11pm. We are hiring for approximately 3-5 shifts per week. Every other weekend is required as well as some holidays.
Front Desk Agent Primary Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival in accordance with hotel standards.
Respond in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.
Check identification and ensure that credentials provided are accurate and valid.
Register guests into the computer system, verifying reservation, contact details, and credit information.
Assign rooms to guests and make room keys.
Make and confirm reservations, including creating walk-in reservations.
Answer phone and guest questions, particularly pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, travel directions; and/or making recommendations regarding shopping, dining, entertainment or local attractions.
Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.
Generate bills, collect payments, and make change for guests, while maintaining a house bank and making deposits; accurately reporting of receipts daily.
Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning.
Record guest comments or complaints, referring guests to manager as necessary.
Assist with other duties as assigned such as general cleaning or helping wash and fold laundry.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Must possess basic computer skills and basic computational ability.
Prior customer service experience and/or hotel front desk experience preferred.
General knowledge of Sheldon and its attractions preferred.

With school back in session we our back to our fall schedule for lifeguarded hours. Children are not allowed in the lap pool without a lifeguard. Thank you!

JOB SUMMARY:
Promotes the safety and well-being of guests swimming, playing and enjoying the overall experience of our pool. Lifeguards interact directly with guests by providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
• Prevent injuries and eliminate hazards, recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations and operate all applicable equipment in a safe manner according to established policies and procedures.
• Cleaning and maintaining the decks and pools and providing information beneficial to guest satisfaction by up selling resort facilities and services.
• Responsible for opening and closing duties, safety checks, and performing first aid care as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the CPO, General Manager and co-workers in order to help maintain a cohesive workplace.

We have updated our swim hours for public swim.
Please note, we have to limit the amount of people in the pool at a time due to the Governor's proclamation. So far, we have not ran into any issues with limiting pool patrons. We do have some higher peak times, where we may potentially have to turn pool guests away or have a waiting period. These times would be the lifeguarded hours, listed below. We would encourage your family to give us a call before swimming during these times.
