Full Job Description
As a Housekeeper, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically,you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
· Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
· Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
· Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
· Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
· Dispose of trash and recyclables
· Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
· The expectations of the work hours of the position are scheduled based upon the needs of the business which includes weekends/evenings (Saturday and/or Sunday). Hours beyond 40 must be approved in advance by your Supervisor. This only applies to Associates who arenon-exempt.
Ensure your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Acknowledge and welcome all guests, assist individuals with disabilities, thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with guests and others with clear and professional language
Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area
Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and verifying status before entering. Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
Make bed(s) and fold terry
Clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order
Straighten and organize desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties-guest rooms and hallways
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report promptly any maintenance problems
Always support your fellow Associates and adhere to quality expectations and standards
Support the teams common goals
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
Complete brand required training
Duties are subject to change and additional responsibilities/tasks may be assigned as needed
Laundry as necessary
