Welcome to the historic, award-winning Aladdin Hotel where every guest will be greeted with a free glass of champagne and old-fashioned attention worthy of silver screen star Greta Garbo, who frequented the Aladdin in the 1930s.
Built in 1925, this KC landmark has undergone an historic preservation to bring back the charm and elegance of the Art Deco in the roaring 20’s and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Each room has a unique layout and novel building features such as our original mail-chutes, are functional and collected daily by the post office – a quirk that is part of the hotel's nostalgic allure.
Location, Location, Location! Staying at the Aladdin gives you easy access to the business and entertainment districts. Our hotel is 2 blocks from the KC Convention Center and 5 blocks from the Sprint Center and Power & Light District.
Indulge savory American cuisine with a seasonal flair in The Zebra Room, (a former hangout of Micky Mantle) open for breakfast and dinner or enjoy handcrafted cocktails in the Martini Loft. Step into our boutique event space with that same “vintage hip” appeal, which offers a spectacular view of Downtown KC for social events or meetings from 25 to 225 pp.
We are passionate about the history of our vintage beauty and happy to answer any questions about its unique past. Just ask!
