The Holiday Inn and Suites of McKinney is seeking an organized and detail oriented houseman and maintenance person to help keep our hotel operations running smoothly and ensure our guests have a great stay.
Key duties include:
Ensure the interior and exterior of the hotel is clean and well maintained
Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems, room furniture, fixtures and other items
Assist with the preventative maintenance program
Swimming pool maintenance
Minor painting/drywall repair
Carpet/floor cleaning
Picking up trash, emptying trash bins, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping things down
Must be familiar with PTAC and HVAC preventative maintenance
Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed
The ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of general cleaning principles and maintenance operations. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays is a must. In addition, the availability to be on-call for maintenance items outside normal business hours is required.
