This video was filmed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rest assured, all blood donors and collections staff wear face coverings as well as social distance at all Red Cross blood drives, but we look forward to giving out hugs and high fives when it’s safe to do so again. For now, we’re cheering you on from a distance.

The Holiday Inn has been hosting blood drives for over 5 years now! The Red Cross has asked us to host 2 extra drives back to back because there a blood shortage and a shortage of places to go to donate! It is SAFE TO DONATE!!!!! Your temperature will be taken at the door. Only donors and staff are allowed in the room. You will only work with one tech. Each area will be sanitized after each donor. Social distancing is easy the GRAND BALLROOM! If you are able to donate this Monday or Tuesday, you still have time to donate at our next regularly scheduled drive on July 28th. So please, if you are feeling healthy and are willing to donate make your appointment www.redcrossblood.org. Thanks for helping us save up to 3 lives with each donation! Lots of people are still home and need something to do so feel free to register not just you but others that are over age 16 in your household!!!!!
Move “Rapidly” to get one of these passes for Tuesday! There are only 5 spots left for appointments to becoming a local hero by donating blood! The Holiday Inn on Greenwich Road is hosting the Blood Drive with Max Media and doing our part to help with the big shortage of blood supply! We filled 53 of our 58 spots already. Available times are 12:30, 3:00, 3:15, 3:30 and for those that are Blood Type O+ or O- you can be a super hero and sign up for a Power Red donation at 11:00! We can only do appointments this time! If you can’t make this drive, we just volunteered to host 2 more drives at the hotel on June 1 & 2. The Red Cross needs venues that can adhere to social distancing regulations and we are happy to help!
