Just thought I'd share a positive moment. Had a Princess client call me today to apply final payment way earlier than it was due, to make sure my commission would be protected, in the event Princess cancels their sailing. How they know this is beyond me, but it warmed my heart, and made me pause, take a few steps back, and remember how great my loyal clients are! When I called Princess to apply the payment, the agent greeted me with "wait, what; you want to apply a payment on a booking?! All I've been addressing are cancellations, refunds or FCCs!" Felt great to apply a payment on a booking (for both of us), for a change, which will probably be canceled anyway, but for now, I'll celebrate!!! ❤
I will celebrate this day, as it has more meaning than the 42 years I have been in this industry! We will travel again!
So, Happy Travel Advisor / Consultant / Stress Reliever / Advice Giver / Vacation Planner ... (fill-in the blanks) Day to me and all my colleagues in this industry!!! The first Wednesday of every May is dedicated as “National Travel Advisor’s Day!”

To ensure the safety of our patrons, as well as our family, Holiday Travel World will be following the directions of our officials, and will be closed for the next two weeks. This decision is subject to change, at anytime, as we evaluate the COVID-19 pandemic. We all have to do our part with a goal to diminish contamination. Please support your local businesses, who will surely take the biggest brunt, once we're up and running again. Please rest assured we are only a phone call / email away, and all your travel concerns will be addressed during this difficult time. I trust in the Lord we will sit, shake hands, plan your adventures, and laugh again in the not too distant future. Stay safe, keep your distances, take care of your families and neighbors, and wash your hands, before, during and after you wash your hands. This too shall pass, and we'll be stronger on the other side! 🙏
