Now for an overdue update. Several changes have been made. Our hours are now 7:00AM to 6:00PM seven days a week. However, we are only checking pets in and out by appointment so you need to make a reservation and set up a check in time and check out time. Our daycare has been temporarily suspended. We hope to restart it soon. If you are ready to start bringing your dogs back please let us know. That will do a lot to help speed the return of daycare. We are having problems with our phone system. If it just rings forever or shuts off without giving you a chance to leave a message please text us and we will call you. We have been fortunate that everyone has remained healthy. Hopefully you have also. This looks like it is going to be our busiest weekend since early March and it is exciting. please stay safe and we hope to see you and your pets soon.
Starting April 13th, we will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7p.m. until we discover how much we can shrink our hours and still serve all our daycare clients. There will continue to be no admittance into the lobby. Daycare will only be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Boarding will continue 7 days a week by reservation only. We will only be scheduling the necessary amount of staff to do the job. Both daycare and boarding require a reservation and we must be provided a drop-off and pick-up time. This is to ensure that we are able to have the necessary staff here on-site. We will be unable to keep up with the same coverage with phone calls so please leave a detailed message and your call will be returned.
When making boarding or daycare reservations we must be given a specific drop-off and pick-up times and they must be strictly observed so we can safely carry out our duties. For example, if you say you will drop off around 11 a.m. we will give you from 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. to drop off. There will be “no contact” pick-up and drop-off. We will be placing pens in the parking lot for daycare dogs to be placed in at drop-off. Clients will call us when they have placed their dogs in the pens and once the client has returned to their vehicle we will retrieve the dog and take them to daycare. We will have a pen provided for boarding dogs as well. Call when you arrive to drop off for boarding and we will collect the luggage, feeding and other necessary information over the phone. Once the dog is placed in the pen and the luggage set next to the pen we will come out and collect the dog and their luggage. No dog can be left until the client observes a staff member coming to get the dog. The pick-up procedure will also make use of the pens like in drop-off. The client will call to let us know they have arrived to pick-up their pet. We will take the payment over the phone, after which we will place the pet in the pen and the luggage outside the pen. Please remain in your vehicle until the staff member has walked away.
We wanted to let everyone know that even during this time of uncertainty that we are still open our regular business hours Sunday to Saturday from 6:30 am to 7 pm. We will continue to do our best to serve you and your pet’s needs. We have some slight change in procedures to help keep everyone safer.
If you are dropping off for daycare give us a call when you arrive and an employee will meet you at your car and take the dog up to daycare. You can call us at pickup as well and we can bring your dog out to your car for you. If you need to pay we can take payment over the phone.
If bringing your pet in for boarding we can go over all boarding details over the phone when you drop off and then come out to your car to get the dog and it’s belongings. When picking up from boarding, you will call from your car and we can check out your pet and take payment over the phone and then bring your pet out to you. We are also asking that you refrain from bringing bedding in for your dog since we wash all bedding before the pet goes home and are trying to save on costs at this time. We also ask that you please only bring the amount of food needed for your pet while boarding. Please also limit the number of toys to two.
