I have been working as the RN for the Williamsburg branch of Home Care Assistance for some time now. The management is very welcoming and friendly as well as helpful and professional. They treat their employees well. I have enjoyed my position with the company and feeling like I have made a difference in the lives of the clients. Each client is unique, with different needs and I take pride in formulating a plan of care that’s addresses the client’s physical and emotional well being and also provides a safe haven in their home. We have a great group of caregivers who love what they do. I have found the families of our clients to be cooperative and very grateful. I would recommend Home Care Assistance for anyone wanting quality in home care for their loved one.

Home Care Assistance of Richmond is recognizing Heide J. as our “Caregiver of the Month”! 🎉🎈
Heide has been an HCA employee for over one year and a caregiver for over 30 years. ✨AMAZING✨ We are incredibly grateful to have such a stellar member of our team, our clients adore her and we are excited to be able to recognize her dedication!
Heide says: "In highschool I had a neighbor that had muscular dystrophy. I found caring for him brought me so much joy. I went on to care for many more wonderful people who have made a big impact in my life. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is getting to know my client and family and building a relationship and bond with them. My current client is 83 and she is the sweetest person. She loves to get her nails painted and her hair curled. I love doing both for her because it makes her smile and that is my biggest reward. My clients would say that I am CARING💕, COMPASSIONATE💌 and DEPENDABLE🐢."
Thank you, Heide, you are a gem and we are lucky to have you! 💎💜

We've been utilizing the care givers from Home Care Assistance for about 6 weeks now and have been very pleased. My parents objected to having anyone in their home at first, but the aids were very respectful caring, and it didn't take long for my parents to come to enjoy them. Becky was great about quickly getting us on board with the caregivers. Communication with her is easy. The aids really care about my parents and the conversation flows easily. We like that they only rotate between 2 day aids and 2 night aids. That has made it much easier on all parties involved. They seem to be good about anticipating my parents' needs. Our situation has been complicated so our particular needs are extra burdensome and they have risen to the occasion.

We needed 24/7 care in a hurry and Becky came through!! All of our aids have shown true compassion for our parents and my sister and I have full confidence that they are taken care of when we can’t be there. If you need 24/7 care or in 12 hour care for your loved ones, this is where you should go.

Carmen has been an HCA employee for over one year and a caregiver for over 15 years. ✨ROCKSTAR!✨ We are incredibly grateful to have such a stellar member of our team, our clients rave about her and we are excited to be able to recognize her hard work!
Carmen says: "What I love most about being a caregiver is getting to know my clients, learning from their experiences and also building a relationship with the family. When my youngest brother Chris was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy I learned to have patience and love for somebody who does not have the same quality of life as I do. I became part of the HCA family to continue doing this type of work. My client now is 93 years old and has the best sense of humor, she is so sweet and loving. Three words my clients would use to describe me are: 🌻MARVELOUS, 🌙DEPENDABLE and 🦋SOCIABLE.
Thank you, Carmen, we appreciate all you do!💖

One of our client’s daughters had some kind words to share about her dad’s care experience with Home Care Assistance.
She said, “My caregiver was so caring, made my dad smile every day, and cared for him as if he were family. She anticipated his every need, and was terrific! I highly recommend Home Care Assistance.”
Thank you Krysten K., for this amazing feedback. We are so glad that your dad has had such a positive experience with his caregiver and our team.
