We think it’s important that every homeowner knows there way around their electrical panel. It’s important to know what breaker controls what room. Luckily this customer knew where to find the breaker and turn this circuit off. We did have to run new wires but we were able to get the customer back up and running and they have a nicer, quieter fan too!

One of our "Non Negotiables" here at Home Team Energy is a no tolerance drug policy. This morning we tested every employee (including the owners) and we're happy to report that we are all drug free. While its no surprise to us, its important for our customers to know that we take our drug policy very seriously.

This is a newer home in a nice neighborhood, the homeowner didn't want a bunch of drywall cut open, so we ran the conduit on the exterior wall, tucked nicely along the downspout...most people will never know that conduit is there!
The weather is 🥶 but the solar panels are ☀️!
They are hard to see, but this house has 20 solar panels, enough to power this entire home.

We’re here to, “do good work for good people,” from the first phone call to the final product.
We are often asked if we can install solar panels in the winter. Short answer is Yes, the long answer is...
1. Assemble the The Goat Steep Assist to safely climb to the ridge of the roof to secure our roof anchors and ropes.
2. Utilize plastic shovels to remove the bulk of the snow.
3. Apply calcium chloride ice melt to melt any remaining ice and snow. (Calcium Chloride is a safer alternative to regular salt, melts faster and has less negative impacts on roofs/gutters/vegetation.
4. When possible, we work off ladders to install the bottom row of solar attachments and rail.
5. Once the bottom rail is installed, we can work off of it and continue working up the roof slope.
6. If we can't finish the job and snow is predicted over night, we lay out a tarp over the rails, so the next day we aren't starting all over with the shoveling and ice melt.
We completed this 200A service upgrade today. It was cold, but the crew made it happen!
