This #ThankfulThursday, we’d like to recognize Bank of America for their generous grant to support patient medication assistance at the Homestead Community Health Center. Many people living with chronic diseases or conditions need regular, coordinated healthcare more than the average person, yet struggle to maintain their health without financial support. These disparities have increased during the COVID-19 pandemic as many have experienced job displacement. Patients are discharged but often need extended follow-up care and medications, which can be quite expensive without insurance. In addition to patient medication assistance, Baptist Health Foundation is seeking funding to support additional staff, medical supplies, medication and diagnostic services at the Center. To learn how you can make a difference, visit BaptistHealth.net/Foundation. #BaptistHealthFoundation #BofAGrants
