I get this question often. If your cat is an indoor cat, it's probably warmer in your house than what you keep it during the summer.
If your cat is indoor/outdoor you might want to consider a comb/plush cut like He ry is sporting here.

Effective January 1st, 2021,I will no longer accept enormous cats. If your cat is the size of these big guys, you will need to take it to a salon that has two groomers that can maneuver a cat this big. My poor body can no longer do it.
