We celebrated very special anniversary last week. One of our wonderful residents and husband celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary. Special thanks to Heartland Hospice and our very own Lori for the beautiful cake and cupcakes. So much LOVE going around this place. ❤️❤️❤️

Dad and I sat on the back deck at Hoover Haus on one of the first warm days last spring. I loved just hanging with him talking about whatever popped in our heads - usually family, golf or funny memories. Our favorites alway came up like when Smitty and I “found” a cooler full of beer just as we realized we needed more but it was no alcohol sales Sunday in SC. Or the time I thought I could jump over a creek on the golf course and landed in knee deep mud. Nat laughed so hard she ... well, I won’t tell that secret. Dad loved that one. That afternoon, we decided that the flowerbed could use a little sprucing up. We talked about some plants and how we both loved the smell of lilacs in the spring.
Today, Nat and I did a little landscaping for the Hoover Haus residents to enjoy.
Dad- I hope you like it. I know you would have smiled and told us how nice it looks. ❤️
As I come into the center yesterday I see an “army” of family working on our lower level patio. Some assembling furniture, some cleaning and decorating. Yes, all wearing masks and distancing from residents. But my level of surprise was low. I have seen this family in action before. Their mission...to help others. In this case they gave up their Sunday to make a special place where residents and families can enjoy visiting. This act of kindness goes beyond comprehension. Thank you to all involved and to all who donated in memory of Bob. This is what Hoover Haus is....FAMILY. To say I am lucky to have been a part of Bobs time would be a gross understatement. My favorite memories of Bob are on this patio and now it is as beautiful as those memories. My appreciation and gratitude to the Belt family.
With Love,
Quinten, Rosemary and Team Hoover Haus

Today, we delivered new outdoor furniture to Hoover Haus, the facility that cared for Dad from March until he passed July 11. We're so happy to have the residents there enjoy them. We were also able to give them a check for the generous donations from family and friends through the gofundme account. A heartfelt thank you to anyone and everyone who gave, your support it's greatly appreciated. ❤️
Wow do we have wonderful staff at Hoover Haus. I am so fortunate to have caring and loving people around me. Thanks Nickie for the gift. I’m very appreciative for all my staff. Thank you.

It has been a difficult few weeks for us. Loss is so hard. I’d like to share this review with everyone especially our staff. It absolutely means the world to us to hear how we offer comfort during the most difficult times. Thank you Courtney and family.
