About

At Hope Mental Health, Satu Woodland, PMHCNS-BC, APRN treats those in the Treasure Valley with mental health problems. Treatment typically begins with a comprehensive evaluation of a patient’s medical history, past psychiatric history, cultural issues, and lab work. From there, the team tailors a treatment program that promotes mental health wellness through healthy habits, behavioral counseling, medications when needed, and psychotherapy. Providers can address any number of mental health problems, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), schizophrenia, and bipolar illness. The goal at Hope Mental Health is to achieve remission by helping patients deal with the here-and-now and providing them with the tools they need to lead productive and happy lives.

"They also have difficulty identifying alternative solutions when faced with a problem.” He goes on: “Within the context of a major depression, this difficulty making good decisions can translate into choosing death, which is a solution that ends the suffering immediately, despite its irreparable consequences, without seeing any alternative solutions.” Learn more about surviving relatives of people who commit suicide, and their tendency to make risky decisions (up on the blog today): https://www.hopementalhealth.com/blog/risky-decisions-and-suicide-vulnerability
