Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update:
Our highest priority is the health, safety, and well being of our patients and staff.
After careful consideration, based on Governor Scott's recent Declaration of a State of Emergency and the recommendations from the American Dental Association and the Vermont State Dental Society to voluntarily suspend non-essential or non-urgent dental care
Horizon Dental will be closed beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020 and re-open Monday, April 6, 2020.

Just as the seasons are changing, there are changes happening here at Horizon Dental as well. Our wonderful Dr. Carson Stroyan and his new WIFE, Jenn are headed out to Arizona to begin the next chapter of their lives together. Although we are sad to see him go, we can't help but look back on the time we had with him and are excited for what's to come for him and his family!
Please help us in wishing them well on their upcoming ventures.. Good luck, safe travels and stop by whenever you're back on the East Coast! :)

Have you had your first dental hygiene visit and exam of the year yet? It is recommended that patients have at least two hygiene visits per year. Most dental insurance policies allow for two annual hygiene visits (called “Prophylaxis”), which are usually covered at 100% under preventative and diagnostic care.
Some policies have a strict rule in which hygiene visits must be a minimum of 6 months apart TO THE DAY. And since most policy years run from January 1 – December 31, we recommend that you have your first hygiene visit by June 30th, to ensure that your second visit is covered.
