Hospice Home Care, founded in 1992, consists of an interdisciplinary team of professionals and volunteers who provide medical, psychological and spiritual support for the terminally ill and their families. Its services include nursing care, social work, counseling, therapies, bereavement care and speech-language pathology. It also offers short-term inpatient continuous care in the home. Additionally, it provides medical equipment and supplies, including drugs and biologicals. Its nursing care includes pain management, patient and family education, 24-hour emergency care and support and preparation for death. Its bereavement support includes assistance with funerals, grief cards and scheduled memorial services. Located in Conway, Ariz., Hospice Home Care employs more than 300 people in over five offices throughout the state.
