Yoga is a great way to reduce stress, ease tension and connect with your breath. The mental health practice of yoga allows the body and mind to connect, while increasing flexibility, instilling deep relaxation, and increasing hope over time. Finding a yoga teacher during the pandemic may feel like a challenge, but several studios are now hosting their classes online! If you have a camera the instructors can help guide you into safe, relaxing poses without having any contact with you. For more affordable resources, check out a book from the library or find a YouTube yoga class, which offer free content that can be paused if you need a break in between.
