These cards are “feel good” cards designed by a young adult who has Down Syndrome and is a child of one of our staff members. She comes up with the quotes and designs and hopes they can bring a smile and a sense of hope to everyone.
A big thank you to Gordon and Georgie Miller who stopped by to present a check for $500, which was the proceeds of their recent garage sale. The donation is in memory of her mom, Judy Aiken. The Millers are shown below with Shannon Cayea, Hospice & Palliative Care Executive Director.

Hospice care ‘comes from the heart’
Each fall HPCI has offered a workshop on Coping with Grief during the Holidays. This year we cannot offer it because of the COVID 19 Pandemic. We provide this recording to reach out and offer support during this very difficult time. If you would like talk with one of our bereavement counselors, please call our bereavement services line at 315-735-6487 ext. 1214.
Did you know that last year we honored 85 hospice patients who were Veterans through our We Honor Veterans program?
We thanked them for their service and presented them with a certificate and a pin. Today we honor those patients and all who served!
