State Street's new, pedestrian-friendly promenade in Downtown Santa Barbara begins a mere 2-1/2 blocks from our front door and features expanded, outdoor patio dining at most restaurants, such as Institution Ale Company Santa Barbara.
As Santa Barbara has moved into the red phase, many of our indoor museums are reopening for limited capacity, socially distanced visits. Guests, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art will reopen to the general public beginning October 14. We recommend checking out In the Meanwhile..., an exhibition of contemporary artworks.
