HottinDaro is a New York City fashion company founded by Richard Hottinger and Andy Rotondaro. Hottinger and Rotondaro both attended Manhattanville College, but it was not until after graduating from the university and living in NYC that the two entrepreneurs developed a friendship and ultimately co-founded HottinDaro. In October of 2012, HottinDaro officially launched its innovative line of designer cashmere pants. Inaugural ceremonies were held at The Darby, a staple in New York nightlife. Friends and peers joined in celebrations and admiration. Following the opening ceremonies, sales became available to the public online, and retail exposure soon followed in Canada, the UK, and an exclusive connection with retail stores in Gstaad, Switzerland.
By February 2013, HottinDaro had successfully sold-out of its initial product. The company, now working with an Italian manufacturer, have begun to expand their collection. HottinDaro now offers 100% cashmere pants for men and women, cashmere-hooded sweatshirts, and a cashmere children line called, "LittleHotties". They also offer designer sunglasses for men and women.
