HOUSE DESIGN STUDIO was Launched in May 2009 as the brain child of Leslie Largay and Nicole Hagerman Miller, Leslie and Nicole were brought together through the transaction of a HOUSE- Nicole was relocating back to Missoula, Montana and Leslie brokered the sale. It was through this process they began discussing the opportunities in the Missoula market.
At the time, Leslie served as a real estate and mortgage broker and Nicole managed the global sourcing and private label division for one of the largest online retailers in the U.S. Together with their experience, passion for design and quality, and natural entrepreneurial drive they began a year long quest for the perfect location and suppliers to support the creation of a modern and contemporary furniture store. Together with Kate Ledford, who signed on as the in-HOUSE Interior Design Specialist, they opened the doors of HOUSE in downtown Missoula and have not looked back.
