We are open! We have slowly started seeing patients today. We have kept the waiting room closed to eliminate patient to patient contact. If you have a scheduled appointment, please remain in your car and call us to let us know you are here. Someone will come out to your car and complete a patient screening and then escort you directly to your treatment room. Unless you are a minor, no one will be allowed to accompany you to your appointment at this time. Please wear a mask or something to cover your mouth and nose into the clinic, as required by the Iowa Dental Board.
Of course, if you have been sick, if you have had contact with anyone who has been sick, or you have been traveling recently, please call to reschedule your appointment to help us slow the community spread. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we transition back!
Hello to all of our wonderful patients! The Governor of Iowa has signed a proclamation allowing dental offices in the state to resume dental care statewide May 8, 2020. This is great news! However, this proclamation also includes that we must have adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) available in order to safely practice. Along with many other dental offices, much of our PPE has been on back order for weeks. At this time, we will not be able to immediately open until we can acquire the appropriate personal protective equipment to keep all of you and all of the staff here at Hove Family Dental safe during treatment. We are hopeful to be back up and treating patients very soon! Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this new normal going forward. We will be in touch as soon as we can safely open and look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces again!
Governor Reynolds has extended the mandate to close dental offices for non-emergent treatment through May 15th. We are so excited to get back to work, but we want to ensure safety for everyone first. Dr. Hove is still available for major emergencies and to speak with you on the phone for any dental advice you may need until we open again. Please continue to take good care of yourselves and each other, don’t forget to brush and floss, and stay healthy!
