Well I didn’t expect today to be emotional, but man am I happy to be this guys son. This guy has been plumbing for 40+ years, and today he turned in his keys to his work truck and is calling it a career. It’s a bittersweet feeling. I’m so happy and proud as a son, but a little sad as a coworker. Having that wealth of knowledge to help me tackle jobs that are over my head, and having the advanced skill set to take care of issues that not alot of plumbers around have will be sorely missed. I don’t know how my work will replace what he brings to the table, but regardless of that, I’m way more happy for him. Good luck with the rest of your journey, and I’ll see you sometime this weekend so we can celebrate! Love you, dad.
