Howard Richter, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He then completed his residency at the University of Miami/Jacksonville Memorial Hospital and his fellowship from the Florida Orthopedic Institute.
Dr. Richter specializes in orthopedic trauma. He has served as the design surgeon for several surgical devices such as a wrist protector for snowboarders called the Richter Glove, the result of caring for patients in the mountain town of Ogden, Utah. Previous to that in 2006, Dr. Richter was a traveling team physician with the Australian Aerial Ski Team and with the U.S. Snowboard team.
