How Howze Plumbing is Handling COVID-19
At Howze Plumbing, part of delivering exceptional service is caring for the overall safety of our clients and staff. While we strive to do this on a normal basis, it is especially important during these trying times. Since plumbing is a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and comfort of our customers, we will be keeping our business open during these difficult times. While we remain open, you can have the peace of mind knowing that we are taking every step possible to minimize the impact of COVID-19.
Below, you will find a brief outline of our plan for addressing the virus. If you need service, please call the office at (817)-577-0922 and we will gladly assist you on booking an appointment.
How Howze Plumbing is Working to Protect You and Your Family
Per the CDC and WHO guidelines, we are making a few changes to our normal routine. During this time, we will be adopting new sanitization, work attire, and distancing protocols to help ensure the health of our customers and licensed plumbers. We hope that these changes bring you more peace and comfort while we assist your plumbing needs inside and outside of your home.
Staff Care: Any employees showing symptoms will be asked to remain home until medically cleared.
Scheduling Questions: When you call to make an appointment, our office team will ask if anyone in your home has had any symptoms, been diagnosed with COVID-19, or has been directly exposed to the virus. If answering "yes" to any of these questions, we do ask that for the safety of our staff and community if we can schedule the appointment at a later date when healthy.
Sanitization: Our trucks will be stocked with disinfectant cleaners, wipes, and sprays. Upon completion of your job, our licensed plumber wipe down his work area and clean any areas he had direct contact with.
Work Attire: While working in your home, your licensed plumber will be wearing a fresh pair of latex gloves to prevent the spread of outside germs and bacteria. Our work vans will be fully stocked with gloves to make sure we are staying as clean as possible inside your home.
Distancing Efforts: While inside your home, we are asking our customers and our licensed plumbers to practice the 6ft rule for preventive measures. We still want to be socially engaged with our customers, we just ask to do it with a respectable distance to mitigate the spreading of germs.
Authorization: We require a written signature on our tablets upon completion of our work. To reduce the risk of contact, we will be carrying sanitary wipes to disinfect the tablet prior to every customer signing.

This sewer line had a tree root growing from the inside out. Causing a break in our customer's sewer system. We were able to successfully recover the pipe, retrieve the root, and repair the line like brand new. If you have roots causing damage to your plumbing, let us know!
