Chicago Doctor’s Blunt Speech About COVID-19 Hits Home Across the Country
Coronavirus journal day 3. Was back at the office today. While the day seemed long it was rewarding to see everyone. I started with telemedicine in the morning at 8:30 am. I saw a few patients at lunch. I then ended with a few cases after clinic. To everyone thank you for being patient. For the parents who came in for well checks thanks for understanding our change in work flow. We are trying our best to cut down on infections while continuing to care for you. Also to my parents now teachers don’t give up. You are doing an excellent job. Everyone have a good night and be good to each other will try to write tomorrow.
New Office Flow during Pandemic.
1. Call the office to let us know that you are here.
2. The patient and one Guardian will be the only ones allowed in the office.
3. Everyone’s temperature will be taken upon entering and screening questions will be asked.
4. No walk-in visits will be taken at this time.
5. Be patient with us.
Happy Holidays. Hubbard Pediatric Group will be closed for it's annual observance of Christmas. The office will be closed December 21 and re open on December 28th. We will then close half day on December 31 and all day on the January 1st. If you are getting close to needing refills please call as soon as possible to get them taken care of. You will still be able to reach Dr Hubbard during this time via our after hours phone system. Please note that extended telephone calls will occur a visit fee. Please be safe this Holiday season.
Three weeks ago I received the 2nd Moderna Vaccine so I am now fully vaccinated. No side effects other than chills and pain at injection site. For my parents that are interested in getting their vaccine you can go to https://dph.georgia.gov/covid-vaccine. Starting Monday, the general public, 55 and older will be eligible. Stay safe. We are almost out of this.
