Dr. Hubert Pham was born in Pennsylvania, but spent the first decade of his life living in Mexico and Zimbabwe. He returned to the United States when he was ten years old and subsequently lived in Pennsylvania, Iowa, Colorado, and New York. He graduated with Honors from Cornell University where he studied Biomedical Engineering, completed a Masters in Physiology at Georgetown University, and stayed on at Georgetown for medical school. He graduated from Georgetown School of Medicine with Honors and continued his training at Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center. He is extensively trained in all aspects of comprehensive ophthalmology with a special interest in glaucoma, cataracts, and ocular manifestations of systemic disease. Owing to his clinical, scholastic and research achievements, he has won several awards and has presented his research nationally and internationally.
