I was born in Peru. I obtained the Attorney at Law degree from the University of Lima (Peru). I later obtained a Masters of Law degree (LL.M.) from the American University, Washington College of Law in Washington D.C.
The School of Law of George Mason University in Virginia determined that my legal education is equivalent to a Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree in the United States.
I am an active member of the Maryland State Bar and the Virginia State Bar. I am also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
I represent clients in immigration, criminal, DUI/DWI and traffic matters.
My immigration law practice covers all the United States and U.S. embassies and consulates around the world. My criminal, DUI/DWI and traffic law practice covers the states of Maryland and Virginia.
The representation usually starts after an initial legal consultation where I preliminary evaluate the case. At the initial consultation I will give my honest legal opinion of your case. If I need more information to give you a legal opinion I will tell you so.
I am a very strong advocate. For that reason I always look for all the possible legal options to solve my clients’ legal issues. On the other hand I never give false expectations in order to be retained. In my experience I find that my clients appreciate that.
The initial consultation may be done in my office or by telephone whatever is more convenient for my clients and also depending on the complexity of the case.
The initial consultation is free of charge for the first 30 minutes. Thereafter the initial consultation fee is $75 for each 30 minutes. Any consultation fee is applied towards the legal fees. Therefore there is no cost of initial legal consultation if I am retained.
My legal fees are very reasonable and competitive. They will be discussed in detail during the initial consultation. I may offer payment plans depending on the nature of the case. The legal fees may be paid in cash, checks, money orders and credit cards.
