We are honored to have been named a Best Nursing Home by U.S. News and World Report! Our Center earned this distinction by achieving a rating of “High-Performing,” the highest possible rating for Short-Term Rehabilitation.
Our team of dedicated clinicians and professionals have risen to meet unprecedented challenges this year, and this notable recognition attests to their dedication and untiring care for our residents and families. #WeTouchLives #NHCA
As featured on channel 12, this very special and touching celebration for our residents’ 90th birthday! Our thanks go out to the Commack Fire Department!
We look forward to the smiles on our residents' faces when once again, children and grandchildren can greet in person with big, warm hugs. 🤗
Earlier this month, The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted to include healthcare workers and long-term care residents to receive prioritized access to the COVID-19 vaccine. As we approach this decisive turning point in the battle to defeat COVID-19, we remain vigilant and ever proud of our teams. Overcoming this pandemic has taken us working together, and together we are taking a stand and helping our residents and our families do the same. #NHCA #BeTheLight #PassportToBetterHealth #COVID19Vaccine #BeatThePandemic

Staff enjoying the holiday festivities!
Ellen, daughter of one of our residents, shared with us why she plans to #DefeatCOVID and get vaccinated.
Ellen said, "Every year, I would dress up as an elf for Christmas. While I’m Jewish, my Mom would love when I would do this. I’d wheel her around the facility, and into the lobby. This year COVID robbed us of that. It’s so important for the residents and staff to be vaccinated and I’m so excited the vaccine is now available. For however longer Mom is here, I want to visit as the Elf every Christmas. It not only brought joy to her but to all the residents. The vaccine is the weapon to shut this virus down!"
