Good morning everyone! Here at Hy & Mike's we hope everyone is doing OK and getting through this very strange and tough time. As of today we are readjusting our business hours to Mon-Fri 10a-6p, and Sat 10a-5p to get just a little closer to business as usual. These hours will be adjusted at our Roy and South Ogden locations. I would also like to take a moment to say thank you to all of our incredible customers who have continued to show us so much support during the last few crazy weeks. We are truly grateful for our customers in every aspect. We've had those showing us support by coming in and doing business with us. We have also been shown support by those of you who have simply stopped in or called just to see how we are doing. We hope everyone has felt the reciprocation by us extending our grace period on all pawn loans and also by temporarily waiving our small convenience fee for making payments over the phone. As we have learned over the past several weeks it takes a community effort to get through difficult times like these. Thank you everyone for your continued support and best wishes from us here at Hy & MIke's!
Covid-19 Update: We are doing our best to keep our stores open and sanitized to serve our communities. Starting tomorrow our hours will temporarily change to 11a-5p Mon-Sat to try and limit possible exposure to the virus. We will be closed on Sunday as usual. As much as we hate to have to do it, our traffic will be limited to necessary transactions only. These transactions include pawning or selling items so you have the money you need to get through this pandemic, picking up items you currently have pawned with us, and coming in to buy specifically needed items. A specifically needed item is anything that you know you are looking for before you come in to our stores. What this means is we have to temporarily suspend all "browsing" traffic to limit possible exposure. If you have a question about our inventory please just call us! Don't come in and browse around as you normally would. If we have what you need you can come in, make a quick purchase, and be on your way. The only chance we have to stay open is to get the new cases of Covid-19 to level out and start dropping. It is going to take sacrifice on all our parts. We can exercise some discipline and get this problem handled quickly, or we can resist what the experts are saying and keep this uncertain and uneasy feeling extended far in to the summer months and beyond. It's up to all of us!!! We are currently extending our five day grace period on all pawn payments to ten days to give you more time. Your currently pawned items are safe with us as always! We have waived our 3% convenience fee to make pawn payments over the phone so please call us with your payments instead of coming in. We love our customers and our community and we want to do our part in keeping you all safe and restoring things back to normal as quickly as possible. We will continue to do our best to stay open and help get people through this tough time! We really appreciate all the support and hope everyone understands that these changes are out of painful necessity only. We look forward to putting this thing behind us and getting back to business as usual at Hy & Mike's!

2021 HAS to be better than 2020.....doesn't it??? Although 2020 was a year that most people would just assume forget, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for all the support we have received during this ridiculous year! As many of you know, you may walk through our door the first time as a "customer", but in a short amount of time you become our friends, and many of you have become close like family. We are forever grateful for customers who support our business but even more grateful for the relationships that we have developed and continue to develop when folks walk in to our shop. There is a sign that hangs in our shop that states, "We are not just here for you, but rather BECAUSE of you!" That statement is even more true today than ever.
