He is an expert in the care of kidney cancer patients, surgery for kidney cancer, and laboratory research in kidney cancer. He also has one of the largest experiences in the world in surgically removing kidney tumors using a minimally invasive laparoscopic approach that spares the normal portion of the kidney. His other areas of expertise include prostate cancer, bladder cancer and testicular cancer.
