Home Office Rona Challenge Post #2: Function…what do you “need” for your space? Depending on your job function, occupation, etc., you may only need a desk, chair and your computer. In which case, you’re probably all set. But, if this desk, chair, and computer requires a quiet location, online video calls and maybe a printer, then, perhaps, a defined space is in order. Even if it’s a corner in your living room, it could work. An “L-shaped” desk fits nice in a corner, and you don’t need to buy one. We made our second EmPower-A Community Connection donation in the amount of $4,000 to the Marlborough Community Cupboard.
Barbara LaGrenade, director of the food pantry stated that they have 437 families in the community slated to receive Thanksgiving meals and that they have been saving for months to purchase food for Thanksgiving. Barbara was so grateful for the donation and said that they were using the money to purchase turkeys for the families.

Thanksgiving will be very different for many families in our Community this year. Crocker Elementary School in Fitchburg was unable to hold their annual food drive to help some of their school families in need so a parent liaison from the school sent an email explaining their need. Angie Alansky, Senior Solutions Manager of our Main Office gladly approved a monetary donation to help out. Thank you Angie!
