As a multi-subspecialty ophthalmic practice with fellowship trained physicians in the major ophthalmic fields, we provide comprehensive and integrated ophthalmic care. We also make significant investments in technology to enhance the level of patient care.
Since its inception, IC Laser Eye Care has had many milestones. In the fields of LASIK and refractive surgery, IC Laser Eye Care was the first practice and currently the only in the area to utilize the newest and fastest 500 Hertz excimer laser. Previously, we were the first practice in the area to utilize the wave light excimer laser technology. For the treatment of keratoconus, we were the first practice in the area to begin collagen cross linking. We were also the first in the area to utilize INTACS.
For the treatment of retinal diseases, all of our offices are equipped with the highest end imaging modalities, namely the Spectralis Heidelberg and Optos wide-field units. What truly distinguishes our retina services, though, is that we do not take the Wal-Mart approach to patient care – we offer highly compassionate, personalized care in a comfortable setting.
In pediatric ophthalmology, we are particularly strong. We are equipped to deal with complex pediatric eye diseases, and offer functional testing such as VEP and ERG that have particular value in caring for children with eye disease.
Our core principles as a practice are to treat each and every patient like family, and to never be dismissive of a patient’s complaints.
