Idaho Sports Medicine Institute (ISMI), was established in 1978 by founder, George A. Wade, MD, and is a private office located on the Boise State University campus. We exist to provide specialized care to patients with active lifestyles as well as Boise State University! Staff at ISMI is comprised of Board Certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons and a family medicine/sports medicine physician, as well as an exercise physiologist, athletic trainers and physical therapists. This team approach guarantees that each patient receives a comprehensive treatment plan based on his/her specific needs. We also provide treatments of acute injuries, preventative care, training programs, coaches’ education and athletic event coverage. In addition to that, we offer athletic testing and performance services including VO2 Max and asthma testing.
