Employee Spotlight this week goes to Nicole. Nicole is a highly proficient dental hygienist that graduated from EWU in 2008. She began her dental career in 2000 as a certified dental assistant and considers herself a dental “nerd”. She loves teeth and everything that has to do with teeth! Nicole has been working here at Ideal Family Dental since 2008. Her patients are always the highlight of her day.
From Nicole: "I pride myself on my love for current research, new techniques and individualizing your care. One procedure does not fit all in dentistry. I do my best to make sure you feel comfortable, reduce your stress, and feel like you are a part of our dental family. I wouldn’t be here without you!
Perry is my wonderful husband, and we were blessed with one awesome daughter named Ava. We also have two Pugs and a Siamese we love to spoil. When I’m not at work you’ll find me volunteering at Ava’s school, reading or cheering on the Seahawks. As a family you’ll find us on the ski mountain, watching Ava’s hip hop dancing, cross country race or at the lake".

Say HI to Kathy! Kathy says, "far and away, our patients are the best part of my job. It is so nice to be close to people and learn about them. They inspire me every day and to help them with their dental need is incredibly rewarding. Even better, I work in a practice where the focus is always on providing the most ethical, gentle, and effective dental care for our patients. They are our highest priority. I spend most of my work day assisting Doctors in all facets of dental care making sure they have everything they need during a procedure, while also providing support to our patients, whether they need a bit of reassurance and encouragement or want to be distracted. I also help our hygienists as much as I can".
Kathy loves animals and grew up on a cattle ranch in Central Idaho. She loves horses and has an Appaloosa mare. She also has a blue heeler, a blue tick hound, and two cats. When Kathy is not hanging with her animals you can find her gardening and working out at Pure Barre.
