The physicians of IHA Pathology & Laboratory Management specialize in the origin, development and diagnosis of diseases. Pathologists oversee the laboratories and make diagnoses on blood and tissue samples. Included among our 14 board-certified pathologists are fellowship trained physicians in surgical pathology, gastrointestinal/liver pathology, molecular and genetic pathology, dermatopathology, gynecologic pathology, urologic pathology, cytopathology, and hematopathology. They are dedicated to understanding the basis of a disease in order to select the best course of treatment for patients

Laboratories co-managed by IHA pathologists receive outstanding scores from external auditors. Our laboratories are accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks, the College of American Pathologists; recognized by the Joint Commission (JCAHO); certified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act; registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration; and staffed with American Board of Pathology board-certified pathologists.
