About Dr. Wood
David Wood, MD, is a double board-certified radiologist who offers state-of-the-art, microinvasive treatments for a variety of health issues at ImageMed in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has specialized in minimally invasive surgical techniques for over 14 years and uses innovative imaging technologies to provide precise, targeted treatments.
Dr. Wood completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley before earning his Doctor of Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Wood completed additional specialty training in diagnostic radiology and advanced subspecialty training in interventional radiology at USC.
Today, Dr. Wood specializes in micro-surgery treatments for conditions such as uterine fibroids, May-Thurner syndrome, pelvic congestion syndrome, prostate enlargement, and peripheral artery disease. The surgeries are outpatient procedures, and ImageMed is a boutique, personalized practice, dedicated to providing an outstanding patient experience.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Wood lectures about his groundbreaking work on liver cancer at local and national conferences. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and six children and watching baseball.
