Dr. Demirdjan grew up in Middle Village. Upon completion of his training he had the opportunity to establish his practice and provide dental care in his hometown. It was a dream come true.
A graduate of Resurrection Ascension and The Bronx High School of Science, Dr. Demirdjan received his BS from Adelphi University and then attended the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. Following Dental School Dr. Demirdjan completed a 2 year residency in General Dentistry at The Brookdale University Hospital where he was awarded "Outstanding First Year Resident" and was also selected to be Chief Resident. As a resident Dr. Demirdjan realized he had a particular interest in Dental Implantology and was admitted to the Oral Implantology & Biomaterials Fellowship at The Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center. As an Implant Fellow he spent two years learning about Implant Dentistry, researching, lecturing and publishing under the direct guidance of world renowned implant pioneer Dr. Norman Cranin.
Dr. Demirdjan encourages collegiality among his peers by lecturing, teaching and publishing. He has lectured nationally at Implant ,Dental and Medical meetings, including the NYU Maxicourse in Implantology. His publications on Bone Grafting, Bone Research and Implants are published in professional journals.
As a general dentist Dr. Demirdjan is qualified to perform all phases of dental care for his patients and his implant training prepared him to perform all phases of Implant Treatment as well as troubleshooting and managing implant complications.
