I remember September 11. My daughter was home from pre-school sick and as so many parents who both work outside the home, my wife and I altered our busy schedules for the day. I would stay home in the morning and we would switch halfway through the workday. So, I was blissfully watching a show on Nickelodeon with my daughter, unaware of the traumatic events when they first started. However, that would change with a phone call from my wife telling me to turn on the news. I watched, as so many did, as the towers burned and then they fell. The stress of rescheduling a workday didn’t seem important anymore. It still doesn't I will never forget.

What we are doing is working! Just wanted to update everyone on a great article from the American Dental Association confirming that all the additional steps we have taken since the spring is allowing us to provide a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff. For example, it may surprise you that even when patients aren't in the office, we are still wearing masks and social distancing around each other. The protection of you and our staff is the most important thing we are doing right now. We are still using enhanced air filtration, extra protective equipment, screening all patients and staff, as well as enhanced cleaning of all office areas. Our efforts will not decrease and any new information or recommendations that we see will be followed. Dentistry is an essential service and your oral health is essential to your overall health.
