Meet Ryan Smith, Director of HR & Compliance at Infinite Recovery. Ryan has over 5 years in recovery, and is a true testament to what recovery can look like. Ryan started working in recovery at another facility, then four and a half years ago made the switch to Infinite Recovery where he has worked his way up from being an RCA, to his current role today. What he loves about his personal recovery is being able to help others by sharing his experience about making it through to a better life. He has forged relationships with other people where he gets to be vulnerable and share successes and struggles. What he loves the most about working in recovery is that he can rest easy knowing that he is a part of saving lives and restoring hope that was once lost. “Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness. If, in our heart, we still cling to anything - anger, anxiety or possessions - we cannot be free.” - Thich Nhat Hanh #WeCanRecover

A big congrats to our Director of Business Development, Chrissy Glenn, on celebrating six years of sobriety! 🥳🙏🏼 “‘May I never forget on my best day, that I need God just as desperately as I did on my worst day.’ 6 years ago today, I surrendered. I never in a million years dreamed of being here because of that. Eternally grateful for the ones who loved me back to life and showed me a way out, I am nothing without y’all. Grateful for a Loving and forgiving God, who blessed me and loved me regardless of how many times I abandoned my faith. No one is ever too far gone.” -Chrissy Glenn. #WeCanRecover

We are continuing our #StaffSpotlight series, featuring Infinite Recover’s Alumni Coordinator, Hannah M! Hear her inspiring recovery story and how she found her passion for helping others. #WeCanRecover 🙏 “My story is just like everyone else’s. I have a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. This disease kept me using drugs for many years just to cope with everyday life. I could not work, hold a conversation, or even function without putting some kind of substance in my body. I never thought i would make it through my 20's, and honestly I did not want to. After many years of using, overdoses, and close calls with the law and death, my parents intervened. I finally agreed to go to treatment. I agreed to 30 days at a small center in Georgia. This was the place where I learned to smile again, I heard my laugh for the first time in years, and I met some of my closest friends. I was quickly made aware that 30 days was not going to be enough for me. They suggested I go to a treatment center in Texas to get me far away from home. I begrudgingly agreed. I was willing to do anything to stop using. If that meant going to Texas- lets go. I never imagined those next 4 months would change my life so drastically. That hill changed my world. That was where I learned how to be a functioning adult, how to show up and be present for the ones I love. That hill is where I found my spirituality and allowed it to grow. I truly never could have dreamed that my life looks the way it does. My spirituality is hands-down the most important thing in my life. Being able to grow spirituality and share that in some of my most important relationships is such a blessing in my life today. 5 years ago, spirituality was not a word I used or truly believed in. Today- it's the one thing that keeps me grounded when life happens and things get tough. I am so grateful for the people I have met on this journey and been able to connect with. I am grateful for my family and the compassion, and support they have shown me. I never forget where i came from, the depths of the depression and self loathing that i had while using. I am so grateful for the life I have today.” - Hannah Moran
“As we go through the day we pause, when agitated or doubtful, and ask for the right thought or action. We constantly remind ourselves we are no longer running the show.” - AA Big Book Pg 87 💙🙏 #WeCanRecover
