The owner holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He owned and operated a commercial refrigeration business for 15 years in Memphis, TN. In 1985, Infrared Scanning Service was formed. He obtained his certification in thermography at The Infraspection Institute in Burlington, VT.
Prior to relocating to Los Angeles, he was employed by Electrical Testing and Maintenance in Memphis, TN for 9 years, where he used electrical thermography to identify potential problems. He also performed sales work, and trained fellow employees in IR surveying.
Since 2004, he has worked with numerous local facilities, including NBC Universal Studios (6 years), Burbank Water and Power (4 years), Cargill (12 years), Kerr McGee (5 years), 3M (10 years), Mid South Regional Hospital (12 years), and Monroe Shock Absorbers (18 years).
