There was suspicion of pregnancy, but the primary concern was pyometra. Turns out there were 4 little ones there! Here are couple of those little nuggets.

Pet Emergency Clinic March 20 at 2:56 PM · In order to avoid contagion, we are asking clients to remain in their car. All communication will be done over the phone. We will come out to triage or bring your animal in, but absolutely no clients will be allowed in the lobby. We understand this makes things difficult, please understand we only have 3 phone lines. We are doing this in order to keep our clients, staff, and patients happy and healthy. We know this will be difficult. Please bear with us. Thank you for your patience. Please thoroughly read signage before calling with questions, as we only have so many phone lines.

It’s amazing what our CT imaging can do. Good news here is these images show a normal K9 thorax.
Cancer is a disease we are too familiar with here at IEVI. It is probably the number one thing we are looking for with diagnostic imaging. But if caught early enough, there is hope. It is a leading disease-related cause of death for domestic dogs and cats. This month, help us spread the word to educate others on what to watch out for. Warnings signs are: • Loss of appetite or difficulty eating • Lumps and bumps • Rapid weight loss • Diarrhea and/or vomiting • No interest in playing or exercising • Difficulty with stool/urination • Abnormal stiffness • Severe lethargy • Blood from mouth or rectum • Increased thirst and urination • Respiratory changes • Masses along jaw or tooth line If you notice any signs of concern, contact your veterinarian to assess your pet’s health.
