Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. The Illinois Department of Public Health has issued guidance for reopening dental offices around the state to more than emergency services, effective May 11th.
What does this mean for you? It has been our pleasure to be here for you for emergency care throughout this pandemic and we will continue to be here for you. At this time, we will also start to see patients who have had previously scheduled treatment and routine care. Please be patient with us as we plan and prepare for resuming services. If you have an existing appointment, our staff will be in touch prior to that appointment.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

Dr. Flynn was recently honored by the Illinois State Dental Society for 25 years of service and patient care in the area of general dentistry. He has been practicing in Aurora since 1995 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and his Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
Dr. Flynn is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), a 7,500-member professional organization for periodontists - specialists in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the gums and supporting structures of the teeth, and in the placement of dental implants. Periodontists are also dentistry's experts in the treatment of oral inflammation and receive three additional years of specialized training following dental school. Periodontics is one of the nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association.
